Notable Quotable:

Remember, folks: whenever a woman says "die for me because you are a man," just look her in the eye and say "my body, my choice."

Facebook censorship begins. Wow, that was quick!

We weren't exaggerating.  This infographic was deleted by Facebook, from the A Voice for Men page:

(Needless to say, I immediately shared it on my page...)

  3. It's a form of self censorship and though I disagree Facebook should self censor they have a right to do so. Unless there is some type of law about public companies and speech, I'm not a lawyer.

Just like here at Blogspot, Google could start censoring and deleting any view point they really wanted to.

I believe it's a mistake to presume that a companies offered communications tool is equivalent to a government provided and protected form of speech.

    1. Some of the groups who demanded this censorship, are funded by the government. More of them are tax exempt.

Censorship is the ultimate refuge of the dishonest, the self-righteous, and those thin-skinned types whose response to ANY criticism is 'ad-hominem' attacks.

  6. This reminds me of a quote by Tommy Smothers. "The only valid censorship of ideas is the right of people not to listen."

  7. I read early on in college that any sex with a man is rape, Andrea Dworkin as I recall.

So maybe they mean that 1 in 4 women will have sex before they leave college?

    1. That's pretty much what they want to be real - all male sexuality is wrong and must be punished.

I just read at AVfM of your husband's passing.

My deepest sympathies to you and your son and extended family.

I know it isn't much, but prayers are going up and out from me.

  9. Facebook has been engaging in harassment and censorship for a long time.

7-2-2013 another example of blatant, one sided, Facebook censorship. Please spread the word about http://www.facebookcensorship.com I was also prevented previously from posting a link to the prayer request forum at http://biblefolk.com

When I clicked continue I was informed that I was blocked from Facebook for 12 hours.
