Sorry, babe. I know how it hurts to lose a four legged child. I had to put my best friend, Chappy (Chaplin) the cat down and it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. He was eat up with kidney cancer, but when those eyes looked up at me...my eyes started sweating. To be wimp, he was also loved. hugs
You don't care for me and I don't know you, but I wish strength in this time. The loss of a beloved pet is not something that I'd wish upon any but few - and those few probably wouldn't have beloved pets anyway.
As I know, the pain doesn't end. It does, however, come less often as time goes by.
Oh what a silly goof ball!! Cute picture!! I'm so sorry for your loss! I know it's tough losing a furry friend!
*Super Big Cyber Hugs!!*
I once read that all pets go to Heaven and they are the first ones to greet us when we cross over. I bet this little cutie will be the first one at the gate to greet you!
It is always a sad thing to lose a friend. And in this world that is full of coldness, complication and contradiction...a dog's honest loyality and unconditional companionship is something immensely valuable.
I'm so sorry Suz.

ReplyDeleteThanks. It's been a sweaty-eyes kind of day.
ReplyDeleteMy condolences, Suz.

ReplyDeleteThe dog is a gentleman; I hope to go to his heaven, not man's.

I'm so sorry. I've been through it a number of times, and it never hurts any less.

My condolences about your dog.
ReplyDeleteHe is a good friend, an honest and loyal friend. A truly scarce and valuable friend in a world of coldness, of complication, of egotism.
A dog will stand with you when noone else will. And I find that admirable.
