Commenters on >This Post < at AVfM are clamoring for a shirt quoting the last line:
"Skies and stars and infinite dreams. That’s what little boys are made of."
I'd wear it proudly. It got me thinking about something else I'd wear on a t-shirt, so I opened up "paint" and made a crude rendition of it. I'm pathetic with graphic art, so it's a good thing it's supposed to look like a child wrote it!
Regarding your picture: You're not the only one who feels that way. I've been raging at that particular piece of misandry since I first saw it back in -- what, 2005? 2007?
ReplyDeleteOooh, yeah. "Sassy" little girls, and everyone thinks it sooo cute. *barf*
DeleteCould also see it work if the non-misandric part was a professional, heavy, serious style of type in contrast with the childlike "throw rocks at them"
ReplyDeleteI was actually thinking heavy dripping paint, or something like the "Monster" energy drink labels. Strong enough to "mean it," but a little bit humorous.
DeleteViolence isn't cute or funny period.
ReplyDeleteCheck your mail. I have discovered the alpha twit.
ReplyDeleteIt needs to rhyme. Also, there's nothing wrong with snips and snails and puppydog tails.
ReplyDeleteStars and skies
All that flies
Fields and streams
Infinite dreams...
That's what boys are made of.
Quote from The Lovely Harvey, my wife, "Throw it, Bitch, one of us will shoot you dead."
ReplyDeleteRocks are deadly weapons so they shouldn't be shocked by a reply in lead.
